AIT has had a growing amount of requests over the past several years for search and rescue assistance. We train in these extremely important and demanding operations throughout the year, using thermal imaging, grid searches and overall team safety management methods for the safest and most efficient return of injured and lost individuals. We have the ability to take over a full operation as a central command or be a contract assistance to both public and private teams ( police, sheriff's department and more).

SAR operations require a great deal of planning, training and highly sensitive equipment.  By contracting with AIT your department gains access to the latest equipment and trained personnel with none of the overhead.  Instead of purchasing equipment, pilots, technicians, added insurance, training and all of the yearly financial requirements, you simply call AIT and our pilots arrive on site with all equipment ready for your training or active emergency.

Many of these searches last all day or even several days, and it is not just the cost of employees and time. Most people don't know that even after purchasing equipment and hiring a pilot you still have many hurdles to overcome to have an on staff team.  From equipment failures, software updates, pilot and technician turnover and more, we have found that although it's great to have your own equipment (if you can afford it) there are still many reasons you may not be ready when an emergency hits.  Having already contracted with AIT for your training and assistance allows any department to have the ability to immediately contact and receive assistance without the need for paperwork and agreements or worst of all having to go without a trained team on site.

Our mobile operating vans are fully equipped with all necessary equipment.  We carry extra drinking water, extra HI-Vis vests, 2 way radios, several large monitors for full team review, even a small shelter and chairs for ground crew to rest. We utilize everything at our disposal to find loved ones and bring them home while making current search teams safer, more efficient and cost effective.
